Amy Mulcahy - National Sales Manager
“I noticed that people don’t leave Hermes – that’s what drew me in.”

Before joining us at Hermes, Amy worked in Retail and at Citilink. Why the move? “As a competitor, my heart sank every time the opportunity mentioned Hermes, they seemed to have it all sewn up; service, relationships and commercials. I realised that they were one step ahead and that people don’t leave Hermes – that’s what drew me in,” says Amy. Soon, she was learning the ropes as part of our busy Client Development Team. However, a chat with a colleague opened her eyes to the exciting opportunities over in New Business. Amy is now one of three National Sales Managers within a 13-strong team and has been here at Hermes for the last four years.

Most days, Amy is out on the road, meeting potential customers. She visits Head Office once a fortnight to strengthen internal relationships and for any meetings. Amy likes the flexibility that comes with being home-based – with two young children, that’s probably no surprise!

When it comes to winning over customers, Amy says the business pulls its weight: “I am super confident and passionate about selling Hermes. As I really believe it will make a difference for consumers and retails alike. The focus on customer experience along with flexible service offerings are great; not to mention prices that don’t cost the earth. The brand is consistent and unique to the courier industry and people love it, too: people have contacted me after hearing the CEO speak. I wouldn’t work for anyone else in the industry.”
