Hermes is a great place to work, but don't just take our word for it, read what our parcel people have to say...
Amy Mulcahy – National Sales Manager
“The atmosphere; the people that work here – they make Hermes a good place to work.”
Amy Mulcahy joined us four years ago after she noticed something interesting about Hermes: that once people join us, they don’t tend to leave. Soon, she was part of our busy Client Development team – until an opportunity in New Business caught her eye. Now a National Sales Manager within a 13-strong team, Amy spends most of her time on the road, bringing new customers to the business.
Louise Thompson – National Sales Manager
“You feel that people here will always stop and have a chat; there are no ‘high and mighty’ attitudes.
It’s not always easy to go out and win £multi-million contracts, but Louise believes she and her team have the support to do just that. Part of Hermes for over four years, Louise appreciates the fact that everyone’s happy to be approached – even the CEO
Mat Sylvester – Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager
“It’s a cliché, but Hermes is family-orientated – people are approachable.”
Having worked for an outsourcing organisation for the last 15 years, Mat Sylvester has found that life is very different at Hermes. Here, he works across the business, using analytics and insight to solve all kinds of problems. So, what made him make the move to Hermes? “I get to run with ideas,” says Mat.
Craig Boothe – Head of Enterprise Applications
“The company has a three-year IT vision, that is turning into reality at pace – that sets Hermes apart.”
Transforming the business through IT is no small feat – but Craig Boothe is making it happen as Head of Enterprise Applications. He believes Hermes has the necessary vision and pace, and brings a wealth of IT experience gained in the rail industry.
